Alameda Priest Known to have abused young boys

The discovery of yet another diagnosed pedophile priest was transfered to Alameda, California without warning the public or church members. This same scenario has happened numerous times, over and over again. There has been literally hundreds of lawsuits involving priest abuse of the children of California and virtually every other state. What are the responsiblities of the Church? Why do they not tell us that they send diagnosed pedophiles so that we can protect our children?
